Biden SNAPS Back After Reporter Asks About His Age: ‘That’s Stupid!’

President Joe Biden tried to distance himself from his ailing reelection campaign during a brief respite on Nantucket over the holiday weekend, but it didn’t last long before questions about his age came back to haunt him.

During a brief exchange with a Fox News reporter, the 81-year-old incumbent snapped after being asked if the concerns about his age and fitness for a second term are legitimate.

“That’s stupid!” Biden shouted from afar.

“Why is Donald Trump beating you in the latest polls?” the reporter replied, receiving no answer.

Concerns about Biden’s age have been a quagmire for his reelection campaign, which has worked in concert with the White House to launch a full-scale effort to prevent him from tripping or falling in public. The president now wears special sneakers with extra grip and boards Air Force One using a smaller auxiliary set of stairs after taking multiple tumbles while climbing the traditional staircase.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has worked overtime to spin a string of consistent polling showing Americans and a majority of Democrats are deeply concerned about President Biden’s age and do not want him to run for a second term. Appearing on CNN, Jean-Pierre ludicrously claimed that the White House press corps “can’t keep up” with Biden’s daily schedule.

“I’ve had conversations with some of your colleagues in the White House press corps, when we travel abroad, [about] how it is hard for us to keep up with this president who is constantly, constantly working every day to get things done and making sure that we are delivering for the American people,” Jean-Pierre claimed. “And that’s what, I think that’s what matters. I get it. I get what you’re asking me, but the record matters too, Jake. What he has been able to do, no other president has been able to do if you look at his legislative record.”

That prompted pushback from host Jake Tapper, who cited a poll showing 77 percent of Americans are concerned about Biden’s age.

Even if he avoids falling, the number of mispronunciations and spaced-out moments Biden exhibits on a near-daily basis are constant fodder for foes like the Republican National Committee and former President Donald Trump who has ridiculed Biden for “walking on toothpicks” and getting lost while trying to exit stages after speeches.
