A visibly disturbed MSNBC guest publicly panicked about the “threat” former President Donald Trump would pose to the country if elected, with a clip of the meltdown quickly going viral online.

Political panelist Eddie Glaude nearly spilled tears as he hysterically warned viewers why they must vote to elect Vice President Kamala Harris in November, saying migrant “babies” depend on it and cautioned Democrats against becoming too comfortable after a slate of Harris endorsements by high-profile Republicans. “Now we get enamored with the endorsements of the Dick Cheneys and the Liz Cheneys and the [Sen. Jeff] Flakes and the da da da… right? And this man is running around here busting his chops, scaring the hell out of communities,” Glaude said about Trump.

“She needs to bust him in his mouth,” the liberal analyst went on. “I’m saying it like that because he’s dangerous. He’s dangerous to particular people. And the history of the country is such that we can’t play fast and loose with it.” Asked by another guest whether it’s “incumbent on all of us” to protect vulnerable Americans and even global citizens, Glaude said Trump opponents “never have” done so.

“That’s the rub! You never have!” Glaude practically shouted at his colleagues. “We’ve gotta figure out how to turn out the middle because we’ve got to keep this troglodyte out of office, because if he comes in our babies are gonna be in danger! Remember, those young children are gonna grow up with the memory of not having to go to school because the threat of bombs, and somebody told their mom and dads eat cats and dogs.”

After a few stunned seconds, former Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill spoke up. “Take a minute. Deep breaths,” she replied.

Glaude is not the first MSNBC guest to nearly lose it when discussing the prospect of a second Trump administration, and he certainly won’t be the last. Throughout the nearly two-year-long presidential campaign, various hosts and guests have gone from simple condemnation of Trump’s words and actions to accidentally calling for him to be shot. Network star Rachel Maddow has been at the forefront, warning that she and other anti-Trump members of the media may be put in concentration-style camps if Trump returns to the White House.

Maddow at other points has suggested Trump would suspend elections, reduce powers within the colloquially known Deep State, and suggested the Biden Justice Department should agree to drop its two criminal cases against him if he suspends his presidential campaign. Others on the liberal network have compared President Trump to Hitler and stated their hope that he “dies in prison.”

After a disastrous Biden-Trump debate, “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough got into an on-air spat with wife and co-host Mika Brzezinski and took an unexpected leave of absence the following day. Last year he suggested Trump would “execute” political opponents.
